My fourth day I visited Mayfield Falls, an ecotourism attraction centrally located in the town of Westmoreland. Two beautiful waterfalls, 21 natural pools, 52 types of ferns and lots of exotic flowers, bird, butterflies, plant species, and wildlife home to Jamaica. When you are visiting Mayfield Falls, you will feel like you're in a jungle with all the lush plants surrounding you, and such calm waterfalls and streams. There are excellent tour guides at Mayfield Falls, who strongly recommend wearing water shoes, as the stones in the water are very slippery. After your waterfall tour, you can grab a bite to eat at a cafe on the premise, that offers delicious local Jamaican cuisine. Mayfield's waterfalls and scenery is fantastic, and the largest waterfall is called The Washing Machine! Mayfield Falls is a tourist attraction located in the middle of Jamaica, and has one of the more unique tours you can find on the great island.
