Franz Josef is brilliant, the most mountains I have been surrounded by so far, and I will be climbing one tomorrow, it has a marvellous name: Alex Knob. It should take me all day and I will be going in a chopper the day after to walk on the actual glacier and not just looking from afar (weather dependent).
I have taken to and am really enjoying not staying in Kiwi Ex reccomended hostels where possible, I like meeting the new people and they seem to have a colpetely different atmosphere, a more laid back one. It puts me int he mood to sack off using the coach and hitch hike, but the yorkshireman in me says no. Though I may try hitching down to Milford Sound (if that worries anyone, please go back and don't read that...).

I got myself a Cadbury's creme egg since the supermarkets refuse to reduce their Easter stock by a sufficient reduction to clear so you would still be spending $8 (5quid) on a small egg. Happy Easter by the way, it sort of skipped by as I was Robinson Crusoe camping near beaches.
