Hey all!

We have arrived in Bangkok safely, the flight was fine and I (Sammi) was very pleased to find out that we had tv sets on the seat infront and we could choose from over 60 films, and lots of TV shows and documentaries, and there was a huge CD library so we were always entertained! I watched Volver which was quite good and Alex watched the Departed! Our taxi driver dropped us off at Khao San Road and said 'walk down there', so with our huge backpacks we just started walking not knowing where we going, but luckily we found our hostel very easily! It is nice and clean and the owner seems friendly, but there are cats hanging around (mum you wont like it here)! Everything is so cheap, i have bought a dress already! We went straight out to explore and had some thai noodles and curry and then saw a live band! It is very surreal in the Khao San area, its hard to explain, everything is happening at once but it is exciting. Today we wnt to Grand Palace and some other temples, we will upload the photos later, the temples were beautiful! Anyway just to let you know we arrived safely and we will keep you posted of what we plan to do next! hope you are all ok! miss you mum, dad, ben, lisa! love from us both! xxxxxxxxx
