Sorry I haven't done anything on this blog for a while but internet is appalling and having trouble uploading pics. Currently in the Red Sea. Yesterday we had pirate drill. That was interesting but the only pirates we've seen are the people selling art works and jewellery on the ship.

Civitavecchia, Italy

We've been on the cruise for 5 nights now and we're in our 1st port - Civitavecchia, Rome's port. Been having a great time but miss our friends Liz and Nev who had to cancel 2 days before departure due to Nev's emergency hospitalisation in Birmingham. They will be on their way back to Melbourne tomorrow and Nev will go straight into hospital there. We wish him well.

We have been in Puechabon for a few days now enjoying the tranquility of rural France. Our guest house is very good - great pool and jacuzzi and a nice little bar beside the pool.
