We caught the train from Sitges via Barcelona to Figueres from where we got a taxi to Roses on the Costa Brava. Had a problem with our hotel. They didn't have our booking and they were full! The managed to find a nearby hotel for us but, although it was cheaper was not as good. At least we had something.

Apologies that I haven't blogged for a few days. Into a routine here.. breakfast @ 9:00, then a lie down for a while. A stroll down to the beach for a few hours then some sardines and calamari (with a beer of course) for lunch on the way back to the hotel. A refreshing swim in the hotel pool and then a nanna nap. Arrived into Barcelona late last night after 27 hours from Melbourne via Kuala Lumpur and Dubai. We had an Emirates limo waiting for us and we were in Sitges by 23:00h. This is Spain so everything was still open but we could only manage one beer before retiring. Will party tonight.

We're off. Our limo picked us up at 23:30h last night and within 40 minutes we were having our first glasses of French champagne. So civilised.
