We've been on the cruise for 5 nights now and we're in our 1st port - Civitavecchia, Rome's port. Been having a great time but miss our friends Liz and Nev who had to cancel 2 days before departure due to Nev's emergency hospitalisation in Birmingham. They will be on their way back to Melbourne tomorrow and Nev will go straight into hospital there. We wish him well.

We have been in Puechabon for a few days now enjoying the tranquility of rural France. Our guest house is very good - great pool and jacuzzi and a nice little bar beside the pool.

Left Spain today for Montpellier via the TGV. It only got up to 301kph!

We caught the train from Sitges via Barcelona to Figueres from where we got a taxi to Roses on the Costa Brava. Had a problem with our hotel. They didn't have our booking and they were full! The managed to find a nearby hotel for us but, although it was cheaper was not as good. At least we had something.
