Day 11 - Ooti loves Gocek
We had to get up early to get to the airport - we witnessed some Turkish road rage on the way (bus driver vs taxi driver).
We were all curious to see what our bags weighed as we did some strategic packing before we left the hotel. jaynes bag was 16.2kgs mine 15.8 and Ootis 14kgs. The check in person didn't care how many kilos we had so Jayne was irritated and wanted to see how many we could get away with. Ooti outraged me as she was going on about how she only had 14kgs but I didn't realise until today that she had two large carry on bags - (which she managed to get away with). Ooti was close to panic attack stage on the flight (it was a normal flight in every way) but any bump she would say oh gosh, grab the armrests and shut her eyes - not sure how she is going to go on the hot air balloon ride...we got picked up from the Gocek airport in style - in a Mercedes. We had a stroll into town and we all decided we love this place. Apparently it is where all the rich Turkish people come for holidays - it is right by the water so they all park there yachts there. The weather is lovely and warm and we are excited to go swimming and sun bake over the next couple of days. For lunch we went to this awesome place called the kebab hospital - we weren't sure if that meant after you ate the kebab you would end up in hospital - but so far so good. We are just about to head out for some pre dinner drinks and dinner on the water.
