Hey! I am in Brisbane right not. Got in this morning. I am just waiting for a friend from back home to join me!!! Lucy used to work at Rogers Insurance with me. She moved to BC quite awhile ago and we have remained in contact through Facebook. She said that she quit her job and I told her to come and meet me so she is! All we talked about so far is meeting up together here. I am not sure how long we will be together or what the travel plan is but it's going to be so nice to have a friend around to talk to and hang out with.
I am not sure what the deal is but my memory card isn't working on the computers. It's an Ultra one which I don't think should make a difference but the pics from Fiji wouldn't upload. I am going to go to a shop tomorrow and find out why cause I really want everyone to see them! I had such a great time. I definitely want to go back there. I seriously I have never been so relaxed in my life. Hopefully I can get it figured out cause I don't want to delete the pics on my other cards even though I backed them up on disc. Oh the troubles I have!
Oh and to answer my mom's favorite question - which I think I already did but it's all good. My favorite food in New Zealand was pies. Not pastry pies but meat pies. Steak, bacon and cheese to be exact. I am addicted. They are the best lunch, dinner, breakfast ever! Maybe I will start a pie company when I get home! My favorite ice cream was Hokey Pokey which is vanilla with honey comb pieces in it. Honey Comb is really spunge toffee. (inside of a crispy crunch bar). Wedges are really good too. They are just potato wedges with seasoning, sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. mmmmmm. Magnum Ice cream bars are HEAVEN. Thanks do Dailene for telling me about them and getting me addicted. Tim Tams are great too and I plan on stocking up when I come home. But mom, what I really miss is perogies (no one even knows what they are), baked macaroni and honey garlic wings. (hint hint!)
Stay tuned for pics and keep your fingers crossed for me!
