Ok arrived in Brisbane on the 22-01-07 with Steve and Tone settle into Cloud 9 backpackers, Roma Street. Hostel seemed ok, not the nicest i have seen but to be fair i have only stayed in the wizard in Sydney so didnt really have a lot to go by...Anyway we booked into a 4 dorm with Aircon woohoo!! no more waking up at 6am boling our asses off, in a tent......Room small but had a kinda en suit shared with the dorm next door. SURFERS PARADISE We arrived in surfers on the 14th Jan. Found a brilliant campsite just across from the beach. $54 per night for the 4 of us, 3 tents and Jack.We are all pretty much organised now. Got all our camping gear. Seats, Table, lantern (that's battery is shocking, and we never manage to have it lit long enough to enjoy our dinner in the light), Dishes and airbeds... we have become very accustome to it all now. we spent the next few days, Job hunting...
