SURFERS PARADISE

We arrived in surfers on the 14th Jan. Found a brilliant campsite just across from the beach. $54 per night for the 4 of us, 3 tents and Jack.
We are all pretty much organised now. Got all our camping gear. Seats, Table, lantern (that's battery is shocking, and we never manage to have it lit long enough to enjoy our dinner in the light), Dishes and airbeds... we have become very accustome to it all now. we spent the next few days, Job hunting, sunbathing and beaching it. The boys were offered a few days work at the BIG DAY OUT festival helping set up the stage etc, and i got a job trial in an irish bar called Kitty 0 sheas..
We had a pool in the campsite and headed down there most nights to cool off and for a 'who can drown AILIE the most contest'Good laugh
Chris came in handy at meal times.(not much use anyother times lol only joking darlin) As he is such an amazing Chef he cooked most nights, which ment i couldnt try and attempt to cook, burn stuff and give anyone food poisoning. So yeah we were all happy.
We headed to Dreamworld a fun park. I think it was a day we all needed. Was quite a cool place. Steve and tone were like bloody children running around to get in the queue before everyone else.... Quite amusing to watch.
Most evenings were spent chilling out (as we were all skint) and having early nights i mean early like 8/9pm we kept waking up at about 7am cause as soon as the sun hit the tents it was absolutly boiling. so when it came to the night we were shattered. Such a good laugh with the boys so much banter, was ace. We decided after a wk with no luck finding jobs we would head to Brisbane. However Chris found work in Surfers so he stayed there and the 3 of us headed up to Brisy......
