I promised myself only one update a day max ... Or location on route however I couldn't help myself after the excitement of moving from arrivals to departures in dubai airport !

My dad said to me today that 'I'd been living in the mountains' when I exclaimed the attire of the women parading around the airport in stilettos which I'm confident I couldn't walk more than two steps in and , bling (even when covered head to toe in a burka) that these women were sporting ! I hate to admit - he was right ! Wowie
So first excitement ... Caused a scene at security ... Wandered into a plastic divider (possibly glass due to the fact there was no give when my head hit it ) then got searched . Then bag got searched - they insisted I look the liners out my ski boots and enquired why they were was duck tape all over them .. Proceeded to explain ... They proceeded to empty my bag and left me for dead repacking it .. No easy job at 3am !
Then I continued .
Four escalators later... I walked into a hive of people shopping ! So this is why where I was sitting previously was virtually desolate ! People clearly factoring into there travels some serious duty free shopping ! At 3am. Back home the airport would erie and quiet soooo weird to be sunglasses shopping at this time !
Anyway ...
I love this airport . Maybe not for 25 hours . But still
