Wow . Possibly the worst luck in terms of seating , delays etc !
Made some Irish friends traveling to Sydney in the waiting lounge whilst in Dubai , they looked more sleepy and lost than me which is some effort! The Two boys clearly didn't understand why on earth I was in a wooly hoodie with ski boots on my rucksack - they proceeded to ask questions turns out they were seated the isle across , Atleast I had some buddies for the transfer and make bangkok atlot less daunting. Even if they spoke so fast in such a strong assent that I spent the duration of the flight pretending to understand. And I tend to think my Irish is Pritty dialed?
Flight was delayed an hour to bangkok dude congestion... We then went through security twice, and had bags hand searched . Seemed like an extremely labour intensive process for nothing ... Mine took ages, as per usual.
I was sitting beside the most obese baby on the planet who didn't shut up the whole way.I swear the mother fed him like 7 meals in Space of the flight .... She was Pritty large too. They should be charged for an extra seat if there going to charge £60 for every kilo you are over 30kgs! That 'Baby' almost certainly should have been in his own seat. Thank the lord we kicked him off in Bangkok or I'd be driven insane! Literally. I think the whole plane would have. The worst infact was the mother , as quite clearly she was an aviation expert.. She inisted on telling me that the wing was broken - not what you wanna know i mean if were gnna go down, i dont wanna know untill we hit land. Anyhow she proceeded to inform me it was due to the age of the plane and then on landing we were lucky to make it. It took so much to hold back from going actually hun 'thats a break, to stop us plowing into the ground' but i felt she might wake her baby up who had kindly given us peace for landing -_- . Mm what else, the hostess ran my food over with the food cart - man she is feeling so bad . . . But it means the service is great ! Haha clearly she's new cause she always forgets stuff and if running up and down the plane like a crazy horse. Fairly entertaining.
We're now just waiting to re-board the plane I had been warming my seat up for the last 6 hours and will proceed to do so till sydney and Christchurch. Yet delayed again on route to Sydney as a runway is shut, the flights all just one big delay. Atleast i'm in no
rush and I'm well fed = happy Aileen.
Pritty cool, the plane has a USB port so I can keep my phone charged to play various games ... Ie bejewelled ...!Some serious gaming is going down over the next 8 hours !
