Good morning to you all, its actually night time here but still pretty light out. We finally made it to Sydney at 7.40 ish this morning after a truly crappy travel of uncomfortable seats and driver that makes you wanna throw up!! We had to find our way to Bondi Beach as we believed that to be where we were staying for the week. Lugging those blasted bags around we managed to find a bus that took us to Bondi Junction then another bus to Bondi. It was absolutely boiling, we couldnt find where we were staying so rang them for directions....wasnt in Bondi was back in Sydney! was not ammused so thought what the hell lets see what rooms are available here - luckily we got one, a really nice room with TV, fridge and plenty of space and beach view!! hehe.
Took a stroll to the beach, burning our tootsies on the sand we lay out in the sun for the afternoon, the sea was beautiful and when the sun got it, it went see through so good for me as i could see if anything was coming for us, lol Lots of surfers around. Adam has decided he would like to learn so may have a lesson to test out any skills he may have. We went in the sea a few times and got took over by a wave, they are pretty big here not what you'd get at home at all. There was a dolphin spotted was several think there was concern it may be a shark but Dolphins it was:) thank goodness!!
Took a walk around Bondi and plan to find out what else it has in store through this week so will keep you all posted on what were doing. Love to all xxxx
The past few days spent in bondi has been fun specially getting into the sea, Im not a particular fan of the sea what with Australia having sharks but not have come a cropper so we have been lucky. Saturday afternoon we lazed around the beach catched some rays then got into the sea, my word ive never been bashed around so much, its such a work out trying to get back to shore as the sea drags you out with it. The second day spent at the beach the waves were so much bigger and you tended to get a lot of water up your nose and in your mouth, was not pleasant. We got caught in one wave causing my Bikini top to fall down, was embarassing but we just laughed about it, and Adams shorts slipped down. very sad waves!!! We took a walk about an hr south of bondi past two other beaches and a massive cemetery filled with shrines, tombs and massive stones - felt wierd but in some ways cool to see the different types used. We didnt make our way to Coogee but we plan to do that on friday. The last day spent at the beach before the rain fell was a lot of fun the waves were incredibly huge but unfortunately the sun was a b**** and burnt us really bad all in the delicate areas, my ass is extrememly pink (right side) and adam in his manly regions lol. Not a lot happened yesterday wednesday 10th Dec we just watched a film 'departed' dnt watch it girls!! went shopping, got some ice-cream the usual.
Today thursday 11th we did the sydney bridge climb, it was a lot of fun, yet i was very nervous but Adam was there so was ok. It takes around 2 hrs to do and when you get to the top you kind of forget how high up you are. The sights are incredible, when u see people they look like ants and boats in a distance look like toys. Overall its a once in a life time thing and glad we did it. Tomorrow we shall be going to Coogee we hear its meant to be raining so that should be interesting and in the evening Adam shall be trying Kangaroo (im not sure whether to yet)
All for now xxxx
