Abs Haha yeah it was great! I bloodyy love Sleeping Beauty. It's the one with the three fairies. Not as good as Snow White though when she whistles to the birds. Remember when you thought you were Snow White in NZ and you put your finger out expecting that fat bird to sit on it and sing to you but it bit you really hard! I laughed so hard!
re: Reutlingen, GermanyHet This place sounds incredible, wish i'd been there. Only thing is...where is Transylvania...I want to see the Dracula stuff and i'm lost. Where do I look for Dracula??!!
re: Tatranska Lomnica, SlovakiaHet I'm only guessing, but it sounds like you had one of your best times with ze Germans!! They're the best. Sounds a wonderful few days. Hey, what's the obsession with Walt Disney and Sleeping beauty's castle- well bent! x
re: Reutlingen, Germanyhet You telling me you tried to stick money to Dai's back and not a big 'I AM GAY' sign? What's wrong with people these days?!
re: Carcasonne, FranceThe Hetmeister Dai you cheeky boy, wait until Devon then I will have revenge. Super week, very relaxing. A truely, lovely holiday. x
re: Arcachon, Gironde, Aquitania, FrancePhilippa Thanks Abi. Am looking forward to a few days off work & a bit of signt seeing. Love Klimpt so will definitely so there!
re: Budapest, HungaryAbi Hi Philippa I've left dave scrubbing mould off the canvas roof of the van! Budapest is amazing, it's also not too expensive we eat for under £5 even for a decent meal but obviously we are on a tight budget. Beer is really cheap! There is a lot to see, heroes square is a good place to start, two main art galleries here (one with a Klimpt exhibition). From there there is a main road with the opera house and churches also the 'Terror Exhibition'. On the other side of the river is castle hill which is pretty cool. To be honest the transport system is so easy it will be obvious hen you get there where everything is. It's a shame we weren't there at the same time. Have a fantastic time! Abi x
re: Budapest, HungaryPhilippa I'm off there next week so glad it sounds like a nice place. Let me know where we should go if you get chance! (also how much did food etc cost? Trying to decide how much cash to take and haven't a clue) Glad you're still having a good time - seen any tractors recently?!
re: Budapest, Hungaryabi so far have managed to play the game without Dave putting his hand over my eyes (whilst i am driving) to get an edge on me, unlike a certain other competative person i know!!!!!!
re: Gdansk, Poland- last visited
