After leaving our friends in Germany we arrived in Luxembourg feeling a little low. Although it had stopped snowing we had to use snow chains to get into a camping place; Dave was quite happy about this as he is determined to use every item packed (hopefully this won't go as far as the fire extigusiher, flourecent vests and warning triangle!).
The campsite was probably the strangest campsite we had stumbled on. At first we thought we had hit the jackpot as the campsite had a bar and it was open! We went in for a quiet beer only to find a disco in full swing; well, when I say full swing, the DJ was in full swing. The place was filled with people drinking but it was all very reminiscent of Royston Vasey (maybe it was a family gathering I just couldn't be sure!). We drank up very quickly and tried to sleep over the sounds of an English couple having a full blown argument.
Luxembourg itself was quite nice; we visited another Christmas Market but it wasn't the same. We thought about eating out but I would have had to sell Dave to afford a plate of chips so we made pasta in the van (4 months of pasta; I never want to see a piece of fusili again!).
