Spent most of the time in Split trying to get information on ferry times out of a number of Jadrolinija representatives, as they ranged from arrogant to apathetic to wonderfully helpful it was slightly frustrating. A very short visit to Zadar but thought it was worth a mention due to it's unusual sea front. The sea front includes a huge round solar pannel that lights up at night with the town name. Sounds tacky but I liked it! More sophisticated is the 'Sea Organ' which is loads of tubes built into the sea wall which act like a giant harmonica when the waves and wind pass through it. We arrived in Croatia not really knowing what to expect.
