The island we stayed at was Wayalailai island! This was about 2 hours boat ride away from South Sea, and we arrived....to be greeted by a massive downpour of rain! NOT COOL! After hiding for shelter and having some lunch, the rain finally stopped and the sun was back out! We were on Wayalailai for 2 nights too. In this time, we weaved our own Fijian braclets from some plant leaf thing (the local woman did tell me what it was called, but I forgot!), we ate lots and sunbathed even more. We also took a boat over to the next island, where we jumped off and snorkelled back to our island. This snorkel journey took like 45mins to and hours, and saw the most amazing sights! Genuinelly felt like finding nemo! :) We were meant to go on an hour hike one morning at 4.30am to climb a massive rock and watch the sunrise....but when it was 2am and we were still awake after one too many tequila shots, we decided to sack of the 4.30am wake up! But i've been told it was beautiful, so we will just have to imagine! We watched fire dancers and saw Fijian dancers one evening and they made us all get in volved, and taught us the 'Bula dance" which is basically the Fijian version of the macareena! Hilarious! We met a group of English guys on the last night and dicovered they were going to the next island aswell, so after 48hours on Wayalailai, we all got back onto the boat for the next stop, Korovou!
