Hey all, me again. I wasn't going to write again so soon but it has started to pour down with rain so i have taken refuge in an internet cafe...

Today has been hectic!

I didn't realise how badly i had jet lag untill i was awake at stupid o'clock thai time last night not tired in the slightest. I am running on pro plus (caffine tablets) to dodge falling asleep today so i can have a proper nights sleep tonight.

I was originally going to meet a tour guided on my own doing a day tour of the Bangkok river and the Grand Palace and Monks Temple today but my new hostel buddy Anna decided she would tag along and see if she could snatch a place on the tour. turns out i would have been the only one on the tour if anna didn't come so THANKYOU ANNA!

We had an amazing time exploring all the rickety houses on stilts along the river, we fed giant catfish bread and got absolutely dranched in our long tail boat. We also saw a lizard the same size of my dog! YUK!- and Jane, no i did not eat it!!!

We then went to the Grand Palace where the king used to live and the Monks Temple where the men of Thailand train to be Monks.

If anybody ever meets intrepid travel guide 'JOE'(see pic) be very nice to him possibly one of the nicest people i have ever ever met!

The sun was at its highest at this point so Anna and I were desperate to find a swimming pool. We asked at our reception who sent us to a hotel which you could pay to use the pool and fitness suite (haha as if!) we walked through and asked for the swimming pool and a man showed us the way. Turns out they thought we were residents of the hotel so we got a free swim in the big outdoor pool before our fun was spoilt by the downpour....

So here i am, the thai criminal sneaking into hotels to violate their pool usuage. Bangkok really does bring out my inner Rebel!

Later on this evening all the girls (me included) from our dorm at going up to one of the night markets and then for a cheeky drink before they all abandon me tomorrow.

Tomorrow is Graphic Design day i have a long list of Design STudios to visit and one of them has to let me in! Whether it is the last thing i do! Wish me Luck!!!

I'll update you next when i make it to Laos on the overnight sleeper train. If i manage to track down the right station i am supposed to leave from...

p.s. i disembodied four giant prawns and ate them all up. yum.
