Few days in Semporna was a bit of a culture shock in comparison to both Borneo and South East Asia as a whole.
We drove there with the intention of doing some diving but as a cut on Sonny's leg was getting a bit infected we decided against it. I couldn't leave a man down and go alone!
So spent the days lazing around town, quite nice after a busy few days. The only bar in town was closing down so it's safe to say we certainly helped the local foreign workers 'close the bar down' and clear the pumps!
Some sad poverty seen in the town though which were weren't expecting. Young children, probably less than 10 years old on drugs on the streets and using the bins as a means of food. Heartbreaking to see especially in such a small coastal community.
Local Malaysian food didn't fail to impress again, Roti bread starter was amazing as always!
Two days was definitely enough and ready to move on! Next stop was Tawau and the World's tallest tropical tree!
