Kia Ora from New Zealand! Can't believe we are here already, the past 2 months has gone so quick!
So we had a few days in Auckland when we first got here which was cool, went up the Sky Tower, met up with Zoe's friend Mimi, went to the cinema (go and see Due Date, its hilarious!!) and then picked up our campervan! It's not exactly the pretty girly pattern we asked for but we like him and we have named him Freddie! (Frederick Percival Porter to be presice cause the number plate is FPP!)
So we set off from Auckalnd and drove to the Corramundel Penninsular (no idea how u spell that!) and spent the night in a campsite right by the beach which was cool! Had a long drive the next day down some v windy grabel roads which was interesting, especially when you meet a great big logging lorry coming the other way! Got to Rotarua and spent the night there then went to Hells Gate geothermal park the next morning and treated ourselves to a mud bath and spa treatment which was cool! Then drove to Taupo in the afteroon and wondered around and checked out the lake! Its prety impressive cause its massive!!
This morning we went on a 2 hour boat trip on the lake which was cool, and the weather has been lush today which helps! (26 degrees!) We watched the local Christmas Parade after the boat trip which was weird cause it still doenst feel like christmas over here cause its too hot!!
Then this afternoon we did something a little bit crazy and did a sky dive!!!!! from 15,000ft and it was amazing!!! (Mummy Hill and Polson arent you glad we didnt tell you before we did it?!? haha no need to worry we are back on land safe and sound with lots of photos and a dvd of the jump to show you when we get home!!!
Have a long drive down to Wellington tomoro morning and then getting the ferry over to the south island on monday! Will update when we can!
Hope your all enjoying the snow and cold weather hehe
lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Jo Hill I can't believe you did a sky dive! You are amazingly brave but I bet that's something you'll never forget! It all sounds a wonderful experience, and I'm hoping you will come and tell the Brownies all about it Zoe - and bring Cat along too! Have a super Christmas! Jo x
