This morning we left Clan William, and headed further down the coast to Cape Town. Our final point of call before the tour ends is a tour around a township.
I generally found the whole thing very impersonal, and very invasive. In my opinion, it takes advantage of crap situation people are in, and exploits them. Yes, they agree to let people into their homes, but only becuase they need the money. I'm glad I did the tour, but I would never want to do one again.
We are then taken for lunch to a place called Mzoli's. Interesting place. The normal way to do this, is to go to the bottle shop next door to buy your beer, then the butcher to get some meat. (All owned by Mzoli) Then return to the 'restaurant' where you can cook it all on an open braai. Clever idea. As we were on a tour, the food was bought to us instead, but hey ho.
After the tour, we're dropped off in Cape Town, ready to start to make our own way forward.
