This is a collection of experiences and memories of the time that Jacklyn and I spent travelling, in a desperate last ditched attempt to put off growing up, when everyone around us seems to be slowing down and having kids. We don't stop playing because we grow old...we grow old because we stop playing!

Lins Hi Guys, Glad to see you've not been caught up in the Christchurch earthquake.Sounds like you're having a fab time - glad Jamie can't get his hands on a monster truck given his driving. Jacklyn - you'd be fine with roundabouts in that. Looked at your photos and New Zealand looks gorgeous - definately need to visit one day. You won't recognise little man when you get back - he's really growing now, has his own little personality and a gorgeous smile. Oh, and today we discovered he laughs when you say "Apples and Pears"????? Think you're off to Singapore next so enjoy a Singapore Sling in the Long Bar (Raffles Hotel) but mind you don't slip on the monkey nuts after you've had a few!!!

marie and chris how long did you do this trip for it sounds like the trip gavin my sis,s fella done for a month,there are picking the bus up in feb in narobi kenya and will travel for a month and finish at lusaca and are going to stay in livinston for a while.

ZimboOx Nice to see that the weather in Oz is just the same as in the UK! Might be something to do with the Maclaurins - Sydney had the worst summer ever when I was over there in 1988. Oh my god that's over 20 years ago...

Lins Can't wait to see the pictures of the sand boarding - is this the same as sand surfing? If so, it looks great fun. Your adventures sound fantastic - looking forward to seeing the pictures, including those of Dave's 2 rivals.
