When we arrived at Dubai airport we didn't have very long to wait until we boarded for our next flight to Bangkok. After the six hours flight we arrived in Bangkok. After we got our baggage we found our transfer and we were on our way to our hotel feeling very sleepy. Our hotel was about forty minutes to the hotel and I tried hard to keep my eyes open to see what the area was like. Our hotel was lovely- very lush- not the usual backpackers hostel. We found our room which had a big bed and a very nice bathroom with dressing robes just what we needed for our first night. We showered and changed and although we were feeling tired after missing a nights sleep we wanted to explore where we were. We used the Internet in the lobby first and I managed to speak to Yas, Mum and Matt on Skype. Yas told us about the earthquake in Indonesia which got us a little worried as we are going to Phuket next week and there had been warnings there but the warning were soon taken away. Then we went to explore and looked for some food. We didn't know what a lot of the food was so we just bought some rice from a stall on the street which looked nice. It was soooo spicy we tried to eat it but it was too to we had to throw it away. When we found water I just got some crisp as it was getting late. We couldn't believe how cheap everything was and kept seeing loads of spas offering different massages for just a few pounds so before we went back to our hotel we both had a foot head and shoulder massage. It was nice although some of it tickled and near the end she started pulling my back into all different positions which wasn't very relaxing. When we got back to the hotel we were so tired it wasn't long before we were tucked up in bed ready to go to sleep.
