Wendy Glad Ian had a good trip - it must be nice to have shared some of your experiences with him. You now have joint memories now which you will be able to reminisce about for many years to come. Ian - maybe you will be able to go out again. A long journey, though! Fascinating pictures of a marvellous country. Hope the food tastes as good as it looks!
Helen Vidotto .....very late catching up....wonderful pictures as always but doubly precious with Ian in them too. Delighted that it all went so well and that you are feeling so much more settled Yvonne. You have clearly been accepted by the local people. It must have been hard saying goodbye to Ian but not long now til you are back with him and boys again. I'm sure they are missing you as much as you are missing them! Much love xxxxx
Ian Pinchen Yvonne can't read this Suzie - for some reason she can't even log on to the blog, let alone sign in.
re: The Final WeeksSuzie Williams Great to hear from you: you will spend endless hours reflecting once you are home, I am sure of it. But as you say, it's a new beginning too, and equally challenging and exciting!
re: The Final WeeksFrances Lovely to catch up again -so glad you're feeling better at last and are finding it all so worthwhile. Great photos and really interesting word pictures. I can imagine how excited you all are about your return, very soon now. Do hope to see you when you're here. Love, Frances

re: Nearly six monthsRuth macmillan Hi Aunty, lovely to hear what you've been up to. Christmas is fast approaching, and I'm sure it will feel very surreal being back home in Cambridge after all those months away. It would be lovely to be able to get together over Christmas, but I don't know how practical that will be with people all over the place? Hope the next few weeks before you come home pass easily and safe journey home. x x x x
re: Nearly six monthsyvonne They are indeed coralled by the Tajik flag, but sadly it is upside down!
