Hello everyone in the UK! Apologies for the very late entry - we've had a very hectic day travelling. Our day started well, with everyone arriving at MHS on time and ready to set off after a fab breakfast from Steve and the crew in the kitchen (thank you for coming in so early to feed us all). Unfortunately, we were delayed at the tunnel, which lead to us arriving later in France and then had a knock-on effect during the rest of the day. Having got through the tunnel safely though, we have spent a brilliant day, sitting by the beach at Hardelot eating our lunch, admiring the very picturesque French countryside, cuddling goats and baby bunnies and then discovering how goats cheese is made. We are finishing off the day by unpacking at the Hardelot Centre, sampling french culinary delights (much to the amazement of our Year 10) who very bravely, have tried snails AND frogs' legs. They are all now 'chilling' by playing outdoor chess, running about in the woods and a few of the less adventurous have collapsed in front of the TV! Such a brilliant day!!!

Miss Lee Bon Joir!! How lovely to hear from you. Sitting on the beach? Is that allowed? Weather must be lovely to do that. Frogs legs? sounds yummy? How did they go down? School is very quiet without year 10s around. Hope you all slept well. Catch up again soon?
Mrs Harrison Wow! sounds amazing. It is grey and rainy in England, I wish I was with you guys in France (not sure about the frogs legs though)! Have a great time. I look forward to hearing all about it.
Davide Manissero Well done to all of year 10 and the brave teachers leading them. We definitely would have loved to see the brave frogs and snails eaters!! Enjoy France and ........boys be good to the three girls !! Big hugs to all from Indonesia. Davide
Mrs Clark Hi Year 10 Great to hear you had a good first day. Sitting on the beach sounds lovely, better than sitting in a classroom! Enjoy the rest of your week and have loads of fun, I'm looking forward to hearing all about it.
Miss Morrison Hello everyone! I'm having a very quiet week without you all but sounds like you're having a great time! I'm very jealous! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!
Susie and Linda Sounds like you have had a great start to your week, Frogs legs and snails and sitting by the beach! Maybe we should ask Steve and Jonathan if we can all try them in school? Enjoy your week.
Mrs Hardman Bonjour a tous, it sounds like you are having a lovely time. Can't believe you ate frogs' legs. I bet they are hopping mad!! It is all very quiet here - you must be the noisy lot. Hope you have a great day today. Looking forward to hearing all about it. A bientot.
Monsieur Hart Bonjour mes élèves! I am glad to hear you are having a good time learning about French life and culture. If you have enjoyed frogs legs or snails then you have my respect (as I'm not a fan of them!). Please note there are serious penalties for anyone trying to smuggle a goat across the border and into Moor House School! Enjoy yourselves and we look forward to more updates. Avec mes sentiments les plus sinceres, M. Hart
Mrs Dobbie Bonjour! You obviously had a great first day - I am very jealous as I LOVE goats cheese. Hope day 2 is as much fun as Day 1! A bientot!

Mrs Colegrave Wow! it sounds as if you're having a splendid time. Missing you all, school isn't the same - too quiet. Snails and frogs legs??
Julia Curnow What a great adventure you are all having. I'm very impressed if you have eaten frogs legs... do they really taste like chicken? Here is a very poor joke for you: "Waiter, do you have frogs legs?" "No, sir, I always walk like this." Have fun!
Mrs Wilkinson Bonjour toutes, Glad to hear you are enjoying your time in France. It is soooo quiet at MHS without you! We have just had a torrential downpour with thunder here so sounds as though you are having better weather. I'm looking forward to practicing my French with you all when you get back. Abientot.
Steve Curnow, proud Father of David the DJ !!! don't mention the rugby, the French are very sensitive!!!!!
Jackie McPhail Hope you are having a super time. Looking forward to hearing and seeing more about your adventures.
Menna Lloyd (auntie to Victoria) wow... you all appear to be having a wonderful time. Are you eating any of that lovely fish. Looks a little cold and windy but I can see lots of happy faces so you must all be having lots of fun. Look forward to hearing more from you .
