Curtin Spings is 80km from Yulara so we have a fairly big day that we can fill, as well as quite a bit of tomorrow.
We farewelled the Holgates and Clouts as they wait for the NRMA. Once the car is safely loaded the boys will head to Alice and the girls will head off too the rock to meet up with is all.
All went well with the tow truck and he arrived with a covered truck
Ian has looked at the car today at a workshop in Alice Springs and parts are on their way. Hopefully he will be able to make it to Uluru next weekend.
Lots of different things were on the go today.
Quite a few of the group walked around the base of the rock. Others opted for a coffee, a drive around the base and a short walk to a waterhole.
Many decided to do the sunset and others watched from a sand dune near the campground. Wherever you were it was pretty spectacular
Unfortunately the Harrison's have split a rim today, but have changed wheels and will be getting it mended in Alice.
Chris and Janelle are here with us and will head back to Curtin Srings tomorrow.
