Rain in night-- nice wet tents to pack up. Lovely big breakfast at the camp cafe-- cheese ham boiled eggs rolls and jam, also fruit and any amount of coffee. We cycled to the tip of the peninsular the long way to Den Helder. Watched some college students trying out their turbo cycles, various streamlined shapes. Plenty of showers between the rain! We were glad to board the train. had to change ends of the train and also change trains at Amsterdam for the one to Den Haag. Katherine programmed the route to Delft on her GPS and Nathan read the map. Delft very busy with Saturday market. We found a cafe serving some beautiful apple pie and lingered there a while. On reaching the campsite there was no shelter , tents pitched on saturated ground were our only refuge. A number of bottles were finished off during the evening. I shared a kilo of mussels with Nathan-- they were delicious cooked in white wine and herbs. Early night due to cold and rain.
