hello peeps! have made it to thailand! flight was ok apart from i got travel sickness :( never had it before either...the food on the plane was really rank, the rankest i've had in my plane life.the potato we got fro breakfast was proper foamy :S however i had travel sickness anyway so couldn't eat...so i basically starved until about 3 hours ago. Pirates,lord of the rings and finding nemo was on so that was cool! i managed to sleep quite well as well...we were prob on the plane for about 12 hours....

So far so good, until we arrived at the airport! Ayers luggage was missing! lol and we were told it could still be in england...lol we then tried to find our 'meet and greet' us man, but couldn't find him.took about 2 hours till and that was cause we were at the wrong arrivals room.found him in the end and taxi was ordered for us....

The taxi journey to hotel took about 2 hours...luckily this girl rang when we were on the way to the royal hotel and said that she had ayers luggage! so we cruised over to bangkok centre hotel rescued his luggage and arrived at royal hotel. (The driving is quite dangerous here....)The hotels quite nice although my beds missing a cover, also ayer's room has a balcony and mine doesn't :@.

Checked into our rooms and at this point still starving, we went to sky high restaurant (recommended by locals as its actually clean). the food was quite nice.i had chicken with crab meat, mixed veg and fried rice.

we then cruised over to the Khao San Road (where i am now), its like a backpacker street and has loads of stalls and bars and massage parlours. i've decided to get my hair braided 2mz! i've brought a really nice bag :) also for self defence i've brought a throwing star which i bargained.. haha

neway we're going to go for a drink now and then go back to hotel. tomorrow have to get up about 8am as theres a organised boat trip along the river/canal in bangkok.

Bangkok's amazing and very different! the shops and stuff are really kool too!

Will update in the next few days! will also put some pictures up, haven't really taken that many at the mo as we haven't really been here for that long...
