I got a new board today!!! I went down from an 11ft to a 9.2ft. It was a lot harder to balance, but I have started to catch waves by myself now which is super cool. I just need to get my arm muscles up so I can turn around and paddle faster. I just need to practice poping up rather than sliding up now which is going to be the hard bit because I have go so used to sliding up. I also need to get out of the white water and into the green water, which is going to be hard because i don't like not being able to touch the floor. The surf board in the image I have up loaded was shaped by the guys at Piko's Surf shop which is really cool and it was painted by Carlos my photography teacher. He is so talented! He's going to Berlin soon to paint a wall, I want to do that!
