Day 25 Orlando, Florida. Took the shuttle bus to Walt Disney World about 20 mins away and got dropped off at the Epcot centralised parking center. Had to take the Disney monorail to the Magic Kingdom carpark and then as the other transfer monorail was inoperative we took the Disney ferry over the lake to finally reach the Magic Kingdom entrance around 1-1/4 hrs later! Big crowds today being Sunday with hundreds of strollers parked up inside at dedicated stroller parking bays. Magic Kingdom in Florida is laid out very similar to Disneyland in Anaheim, California and with some of the same attractions so for us it was quite easy to navigate around. Enjoyed the classic Jungle Boat cruise in Adventureland and Splash Mountain in Frontierland
Watched several street parades which Disney do so well with very colourful smiling characters and powerful amplified sound. The Electric Light Parade began at 9:00pm so we positioned ourselves for a good view.
Through the wonders of modern technology, we beamed a live video feed of some of the show through to Suzanne's iPhone in Los Angeles as she was on standby for her return flight back to Auckland due being off loaded the previous night. The night was topped off by an extensive fireworks display followed by "The Magic, The Memories and You! " a show projected on to the Cinderella Castle.
Many tired kids and parents all around including ourselves with the park closing at 1:00 am.
Returned to our lodging for a sound nights sleep. A satisfying day ;)
