Day 24. Farewell the Big Apple.
An early start today hopping into the cab around 7:45am. Quiet traffic meant a quick 20min trip through to LaGuardia Airport. A wet day in NYC today - thankfully it wasn't wet yesterday for our extended cycle trip.

Checked Suzanne in for her flight back to LA, enjoyed a coffee together and gave her the final kiss and hug goodbye. Nikita and myself caught the inter terminal transfer shuttle through to Terminal D, cleared TSA security screening and parked up in the Delta departure lounge for the 4 hr wait for the 3:00pm flight to Orlando. Hundreds of iPads available for passengers to use freely with personal device charging stations adjacent - Air NZ / NZ airport companies could learn a thing or two here!

Flight departed right on schedule. Enjoyed our carry on pizza. Cloudy conditions most of the way.
Landed in Florida to a temp of 30 degs C - back to shorts for the next week and a half :) Caught the pre arranged shuttle through to Econo Lodge located on International Drive. Cheap accommodation in general here in Florida with the average night costing NZ$ 53.14 - a stark difference to the average night for the Chelsea Hotel in NYC costing NZ$ $377.01 !

Took a quick famil walk along International Drive to check out the local amenities and shops as we will be staying here for 6 days. Bought passes for Walt Disney World for the next 2 days. Crashed to bed early as the next 6 days will be full on.
