Namibia is a true desert. Blazing hot during the day and nice and cool at night. We got to stay on the Orange river our first night in Namibia and it was absolutely beautiful. The water was perfect tempurature as well. Climbing up Dune 45 was one of the highlights so far. The sand is so fine it gets in everything and we were covered from head to toe! Our fist stop was of course London. We stayed with extended relatives of ours that we've never met who are in their nineties! We saw all the major sights but due to the fact that it's their "winter" some things were closed. All of their cars are tiny and the roads are even smaller. Smart cars are an average sized car and we saw a battery powered one thats still about half the size of a smart car. I didn't even think that would be possible. It was windy ...
