Wow what a journey so far! Flying to New york will always be a touchy point and i guess people will alwys have september the 11th on the back of their minds, so why on earth do we get a carzy drunk women screaming and shouting on the plane. The BA staff had to handcuff her and strap her to a seat. we diverted to goose bay in canada and she got escorted by the canadian army (silly girl). this set the scene for a interesting start to our journey. Kate seemed cool about it and we both decided that we had no sympathy for her at all. releived by the fact that we finally got to JFK Airport we both let out a big sigh, until we got to customs! Aparently i have the same name and date of birth as a guy the US authorities are after so I had to be put in a holding cell until things were cleared up. This only took 20 minutes but Kate had to wait outside not knowing how long I would be. That said we are safely in a friends apartment now in brooklyn. We spent today at time square and climbed the Rockefeller tower to see the most amazing scenes of NY. It was truly breath taking to see the skyline of manhattan. Both of us have little burnt noses from sun bathing in central park and little bellies from eating so much good food. Off to the gym tomorrow for some sedrious belly burning... Will stay here for a few more days then will head north. We are having ssssooooooo much fun. Love you all
