Tisha I came across your Journal and I just want to say THANKS for sharing. I run a program in Port Arthur, Texas called H.O.P.E Helping Our People Excel, which helps low income families. We have a grant to go and research food-coops and we are going to Brooklyn the end of June. If you get a chance stop by Park Slope food-coop it sounds like a great program!! I can't wait to go I have been all over the world but never to New York. I am taking some of the residents with me so I know we are in for a wonderful time!!
