Spent this weekend in Katoomba, Blue Mountains NSW. Katoomba was a really nice place, but I got the feeling that although it's a huge tourist destination, they don't get that many 'out-of-towners'. Everything was sort of old fashioned, but really nice. On my only full day in the mountains, my friend Wilko who I met in my first hostel came and visited me from Sydney, we walked for 9 hours through the mountains and the rainforest, in flip-flops (or thongs)! We saw some incredible sights and a few animals, tons of lizards all over the place!

I'm leaving Sydney for Brisbane today, thinking about seeing Fraser Island for a 3 day trip aswell, and trying to organise mine and Sam's camper van adventure!!

Missing my dog, but having a brilliant time!
