So I have left Pender Island and made my way across the water to Vancouver Island, currently I am in Victoria, British Columbia's captital. Its a great place and I have been enjoying myself so far since being dropped off yeasterday afternoon.

I have been staying at the coulourful ocean island backpackers in the middle of town. After checking in to my minature room, I made my way downtown and had a look at the sights. Lots of artists and street performers. I had a couple of ciders in the Irish pub before getting on the harbour ferry for a little jaunt.

In the evening I met up with an old skool buddy, Jonny Wilson, who is living in Victoria at the mo. We drove up a mountain to the top, and enjoyed ther view and sunset before heading to his aunts for a meal.

Today I spent most of the day exploring the park and beach. Its been fantastic weather.

Tomorrow I get the train followed by the bus to Tofino......
