well havent we been busy!
Since my last update we have done so much!
We went and hand fed dolphins at a place called tin can bay its really amazing because the dolphins are completely wild they just turn up at this little bay at the sametime every morning and members of the public can just buy a fish and they come right up to you and you feed them they are so tame! while we were in rainbow beach we also went up to a place called carlos sandblow , it is a strange place but the views are absolutly brilliant, its like a beach at the top of a mountain with views over the beach and the bay its really nice!
After rainbow beach we headed north to a place called hervy bay which is where you go out to fraser island from. Fraser island was absolutly brilliant one of the best things ive done since ive been away. They give you a 4 x 4 and tents and you go over on the ferry and drive around the island and camp for 2 nights. The whole island is made of sand so the tracks that you drive on are really rough and bumpy and you really get thrown about in te back amecia even had a go at driving on the beach! There are loads of fresh water lakes on the island which have beaches made of the most beautiful white sand you have ever seen and the water is as clear as glass absolulte paradise to swim in even meece went in so that shows you how clear it was!
Since fraser island we headed in land to a cattle station called kroombit it was real ozzy bush and the activitys were cool. We went clay pigeon shooting i hit 3 out of 5 meece hit 1 which was amazing because she had her eyes shut for every shot she had! After that we had what they called a goat rodeo we had teams of three one person had to catch the goat (me) one person milked the goat (amecia) and the 3rd person had to drink the milk (craig) that was so funny a real good laugh! and in the evening we laerned how to crack a whip which is not as easy as you might think.
We left Kroombit yesterday and headed to airlie beach where we are now on the way to airlie we stopped off and played lawn bowls at a bowls club which was actually good fun not just a sport for pesioners.
On thursday we are going on a sailing trip around the whitsunday islands which we are all looking forward to just hope that there are no more cyclones as they had one up here a couple of weeks ago!
hope you are all enjoying the snow at home and not getting to cold while we carry on topping up our tans!
