First Entry!

Well its cold, at times wet and cloudy with bad visability but as I write this the first ray of sunshine is pouring in and I'm sat here at the computer!

The hostel we are staying at is St. Christophers, a brand new purpose built mega hostel which incidentally is one of the more expensive in Paris, which in turn is one of the more expensive cities in Europe! Personally, im looking forward to staying in skankyer accomadation, though im sure I'll be eating them words in later blog entries! We are staying in a room with 7 others, all of them American/Canadian, i dont know if this is just chance or not but they are all good bunk buddies!

We arrived at like 11pm and finding our way around an unknown pitch black room to unpack our gear and get into one of the 8 bunks was... fun, but thankfully we had a very understanding roomie who showed us the lights and stuff. Thankfully nobody else was in there at that time so we could clash about, and clash about we did!

Our first full day was filled with exploring Paris, which is pretty much what we will be doing today and tomorrow! Though a new roomie by the name of Tom from Cheshire has shown me his videos of these free guided tours rtun by students. They are free but rely totally on tips and they look amazingly good and very fun too! I cant blog for too long as the next one leaves in 30mins and Kate is sat here giving me evils :P

All in all its great so far! im really looking forward to getting stuck in more and traveling further south chasing the better weather. Im dying to take full advantage of this rail pass and just zoom around europe left right and centre!
