today we booked our train for irun on the boarder of spain and france: from there we just basically hope we can get a train to Madrid that isnt fully booked (as a lot have been recently; so,e hjoliday in france or something). if we canget an overnight one we can save money on a hostel.

We recently started recording how much we are spending and although paris was very expensive... we are confidant we can last 3 ,onths co,fortably: essentially we budget 25Euros right now per night for a hostel including breakfast which gives us about 13Euro a day to spend on food, essentials and extras. we expect everywhere else to be far cheaper, considering cheqpest hostel we found so fqr was 20euro; we see many in ,adrid for 11 to 13 Euro.

Meeting lots of people, everyone friendly, bar one french rail ticket woman who was no help and ulti,atly lied to us; saying it would be impossible for us to get to Bordaeux, when it evidently wasnt:
