France Tour
I went for a run this morning (very early). I now know what cold is!
Amiens is a sizeable place. The cathedral in the photo is huge and highly ornate with kings, saints and gargoyles surrounding the outside walls. As I said in the last entry, the band and choir are excellent and have set a very high benchmark for us.
We can do it, but we need to take seriously our commitment to individual practise. Every section in their band could play their parts and all solos were very convincing. So... Go Queenslander!

Carol Rylance Hi Jan Half your luck - no sorry I know its all about hard work. Still chilly but starting to warm up a little in France. A beautiful time of the year with the distinctive emerging new growths with the Spring season. Hows your French ?
Carol Rylance My dear Father was captured at Dunkirk in 1939 which is not far from where the tour is going.
Jan Hewerdine Hi Carol. I have some French under my belt. It's been fun trying it out on the locals. They are very accomodating!
