Well I have done a lot of travelling today... Went to a cemetery and located a descendant of one of our band members.
It's in Armentiers and it is planned that we will go there next year and perform a small ceremony.
I am now in Amiens. I have checked out the accommodation in a couple of places today.
Tonight I'm going to hear a concert by this years tour group ( from WA). Tomorrow I'll watch some of the rehearsal for ANZAC Day. The photo by the way is of a 'McBaguette' from McDonalds. Of course I had to try it out and it's a shocker! Full of hot English mustard! I was a bit misty eyed after two bites.
Just come back from hearing the Churchlands band and choir concert at Villers-Brettoneux. They were excellent. In total they are touring with 120 students.
