Hi suzie. Welcome to down under, I'm glad you qualified the bit about Kiwis almost speaking English. Read all the reports from your Mum, I always wanted to keep more in touch with her now I know how, just make sure her daughter is overseas more often. (only joking Cynth). Look forward to seeing you in Oz. Love & best wishes Colin

I bloody love reading these messages.....it's so good to hear from everyone as eases the homesickness a bit. Joanna - Good to hear you're getting into the whole footie thing, you'll have to make up for me whilst I'm gone with a few extra "eeeeeagles"..(oh my god, a guy with a palace shirt on has just walked in - no joke!!!!!!). Jay - Love the footie songs but you'll have to let me know which tune they go to so I can practise them whilst I'm away. Mummy - Spoke to Dot n Dave and they still sounds totally bonkers. Think I'm gonna see them next week as I'm heading up to The Bay of Islands with a few backpackers on Friday. P.s. lay off the booze you p*ss head. Em - Sooooo good to hear from you (although not too good to hear you're hanging out at the Grasshopper). Let me know how little char's getting on and if she looks all big and preggers yet. Give my love to your mum and dad too and say a big thankyou for the going away card they got me (I'm taking it around the world with me). Get aunty to post a message on too when she can. Right, gonna put a postcard on now....bye for now xxxxxxx

Hi Suzie, Hope you are well and enjoying your travels. I have been back in Biggin Hill for just over a month now living with 'nutty' Auntie Jayne and having lots of laughs! I was introduced to the dreaded Grass Hopper within one week of arrival and was surrounded by old codgers for the whole bloody night! Very worrying indeed. Needless to say I have not been back there since! Work prospects are pretty slow at the moment although I have joined a few agencies and have a possible interview within the next couple of weeks, based in Cannon Street. Filling my time with walking the dog, playing with Olivia, visiting nan and many nights out and in with Jayne, Sally and Jackie. Really looking forward to Christmas with all the family. We are all going to spend it at Charlottes so should be really fun. I am spending the evening with your mummy and daddy and Auntie Jayne. Jayne and I have been treated to a lovely slap up meal consisting of Macoroni Cheese, Sausage Platt, Mashed Potato and multi coloured veg! Very yummy indeed. Polished off with some of Safeway's finest Vino. Hoping that Jayne's computer will be up and running soon so will be able to send you many more of these. Can't wait to see you on your return for many fun nights out. Have a smashing time honey. Take lots of care. Love Emxxxx

wotcha me darlin, just read your tahiti p/card & joanna's message about palace. palace & tahiti, they really are a world apart! the palace was a laugh: though we were hoofing it about a bit like it was 1988 all over again, there were moments of quality. kiraly was top notch in goal (grey tracky bots notwithstanding) & the holmesdale's song: "kiraly, oh oh oh oh. kiraly, oh oh oh oh. he comes from hungary..." but couldn't catch the last bit. & there was another song that was good. it referred to a comment that the spurs manager (jols?) made after dowie criticized his tactics on the telly a couple of weeks ago: jols, apparently, said that dowie wasn't fit to lace his boots; so the holmesdale started chanting to the blackburn fans: "you're not fit to lace our boots!" & the thing was, it was true. trouble is, i don't think we could lace our own boots either. still, it'll all change on saturday when we travel up to play moan utd...not sure how, but it will. right, better sort out some more work stuff...over & out from this stream of consciousness j.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello! Wow, you're in NZ already ! Jamie gave me your explorer web side. That's just so amazing to see and read about all the places you've been to in the last few weeks. oooh, the Eagles... as a growing fan I thought I have to update you on the weekend's events, innit?! We went down to the stadium and of course it was quali(t)y to be there. It was Palace-Family-day too, full of special events, daytime fireworks, which you only could hear, dancing Santa girls in too short skirts and there was almost a fight too! Anyway, Palace-Blackburn ended with a goalless draw. (Jamie had his ski-hat on, hmmm, maybe that's way, next time I'm going to recommend him to try a luckier one.) The goalkeeper was excellent though and all the other boys were for sure making big efforts... running behind the ball, passing it to each other, trying to score into the goal. So, I think now we're 4th from the bottom on the list. Ah well. Come on you Palace! Well Suzie, have a great time over there on the other side of the world. Many kisses, Joanna
Suzie
In NZ now....will put on a postcard when I've got more to tell. Hooked up with some backpackers so starting to make contacts now that I can actually communicate properly with people. Missed out on Saturday night completely (crossing the international date line) so could someone let me know what happened. Good to hear you're doing well in the shop mummy....not too many mince pies though eh! You'll be glad to hear I'm eating well, getting some good rest and finally getting rid of this cold so I'll be back to full strength in no time. Keep the messages coming and UP THE PALACE!!!!
