Hi suzie. Sorry about the blank message, we are changing ISP's today so expect the worst.
I thought you might like a quick update on SE QLD weather. Last Tues (7th Dec) we had 300mm (12") of rain from 8am to 8pm, this Tues(14th) it was 40C. Fortunately it has settled down and we have had a pleasant 28C and no rain for the few days.Sydney is not quite so variable at this time ofthe year, it should be 23-27C but you could get some very hot days.
We are travelling to Melbourne 29th-30th Dec so we we try to catch up if we go thru Sydney.
I hope you don't mind but I also want to wish your lovely Mum a Merry Christmas and I think of her often.
Best wishes colin peretti

Really like the website, your Mum has said we must post amessage. Glad to see you are enjoying yourself, we are looking after your Mum in the shop. We have decided we will not move to Dulwich!! We are still walking the pedigree dog, can't get rid of her, but we have got duffle coats instead of the Barbours, walking boots instead of the green wellies and have downsized from the 4X4!! We are hoping your Mum And Dad are going to be with us for the New Year, we will try and make sure he doesn@t drink tooooo much. Have a good Christmas.

Watcha Lalee. Well today I've reached the grand young age of 35. Ha ha - it doesn't seem possible! Thanks for your message - it was lovely to hear your eager little voice on the machine. I was in fact still in bed when you rang. I got up early to open presents from AJ before he went to work, and having also had a stinking cold, and got little in the way of sleep last night, I went back to bed after me ole pot 'n' pan had gone aht to earn a crust. Needless to say he'd bought me some lovely pressies - everything on the list. I'm such a lucky girl. My update = the candle party went well although nan refused to spend a single penny of her vast fortune. Since then I've been laying low with this cold and very chesty cough (although I am, readers, quite chesty most days). I did pop into the Institute last week for a meeting with the old Professor that I work with, Neville, whom you met at my book launch earlier this year (yes readers, I am a published writer), to find him in his office, rather disorientated. He'd soiled himself quite badly after passing out during a meeting. He had only recently returned to work after having had three bowel operations, and during the meeting no-one had noticed that he'd become unconscious! His 'colleagues' had taken him down to his office and left him alone, where I found him in a very sorry state. I helped him get his things together and then wheeled him on his chair from the 6th floor to the 2nd floor, via some distant lifts, to a loading bay where I managed to get a black cab from Russell Square to pick us up. I took him all the way back to his daughter's in Holland Park. I found this all quite stressful given that he had faecal matter all over his jacket and trousers. He now refers to me as his gaurdian angel(a). How we laughed! Anyway, I went over to Biggin Hill today and saw mum and some of her volunteers, then on to nan's where I saw Charlotte, Olivia, Emily and Jayne. Char is in quite some pain - her unborn child is placing a great deal of pressure on her pelvis and she's totally fed up with it all. Anyway, everyone sang happy brithday to me and nan, and we had birthday cake....which was nice. AJ took me out for an early birthday meal last night because he has to work tonight - they record the show on a Wednesday. It was excellent and I received a gift from the restaurant and a complimentary birthday chocolate fondant dessert with a candle in it. AJ was sweating a bit about whether they'd follow through with this, given that I'd sent my main meal back twice (it was supposed to be a monkfish and butterfish green curry that I'm afraid was not up to their usual standard). He gave me the good news that one of the interviews he had last week was successful so after he finishes with Frank Skinner he'll be going over to the dark side - the BBC! He'll be making a documentary about EastEnders revealed, or something. What larks! Jaylor is coming to the recording of the last Skinner show with me next week. Patrick Stewart will be on so I should be able to get Jamie introduced in the green room afterwards, and leave him to do nerdy chat about Start Trek. Alora, I'd better be going - I've got two dance classes to go to. Keep the postcards coming - it all looks fantastic. Stay safe. Ciao bella.

Hi Brass, Really cool website! Its great to hear that your having a good time. It was cool that you could make it to the wedding in Rio, I had a great time, and also thought it was well funny that they played Land of Hope & Glory when I went down the ayle with me Mum, one of Monica's Aunts ideas. it looks like you have scared my little brother off, he's stopped putting messages on your board. Boro still 5th, and thru to the next round of the UEFA Cup.... Glad all over about that! Have a great time in NZ, I am sure you will have a laugh there, lots of drunken rugger boys to annoy you. Up the Boro! Brownie

Did you know that if you painted a panda in brown paint it would look like a normal bear? I've been trying to wee while doing a hand stand like they do, but my attempts have so far been unsuccessful - leaving me wet and a bit smelly. How are your attempts going? I really couldn't work out why they don't have big yellow patches on their tummys, until a helpful biologist pointed out that their wee was black. He said that a few other animals have black wee too - zebras (basically mulitcoloured donkeys) & skunks (large squirrels with smelly bums). So now you know. You can now amaze the people you meet with your top notch knowledge of the animal kingdom.
If you see Gandalf in NZ say hi from me, and oh yes.. keep your ring safe, unless you want a little goblin.
