Come clean, Andy... you're only doing this because you finally wanted to try out all that French you learned (?) at school! Sounds like a very exciting trip anyway. Full marks for the photos and the anecdotes!
If you get the urge to repeat the experience next year, by all means extend your itinerary to Northern Italy. I can promise you food and lodging, although a safe place to leave your bike might be more of a challenge!

Hi Andy
Well a bit late to the show but we are very impressed with your antics to date!
Nice and sunny here near York and we can only imagine how you feel given that we struggled to do just one days cycling from Settle to Carlisle let alone day after day. Hope this finds you dry and happy

I hope you have avoided the heavy rain and flooding. The road/map issue in your last blog sounds a nightmare. No news on the book deal yet!
Andy
Messages on a book deal, wine tasting notes and sudocreme. What with that and a message for Dame Edna it is difficult to know how to reply other than to say
Andrew if you can get me the deal you can take 10%
John, I use another brand, it's very good
Dave , you are correct I am genuinely impressed that you have finally mastered the internet.
Rf Madge send her regards. Can she have the cardigan back that she leant you.
