Well the flooding has gone down and everything is drying out. The water got into the stable yard playroom, so will have to get the carpet cleaned, as its all a bit smelly.
Relatively quiet week here.
Grandpa has got two tickets for the England v South Africa match at Twickenham on 24th November and has asked George if he would take him and drive, think George thought about it for a second and kindly said yes (loads of inheritance points to George!!!). George has managed to book a disabled parking space outside the grounds and grandpa thinks £15 is an extortionate amount to park a car!
It was Ollie and Connie 's second anniversary on 7th, so he took her for an meal at The Fleece, and went to Opps a Daisy and got a lovely bunch of Lillies.
Went to Graze with Helen and Ian on Saturday night. Helen stunned us with her "claim to fame" which she didn't know she had until very recently. She has had her bottom groped by Jimmy Savile!! Evidently her water polo ex-boyfriend's club raise loads of money for Stoke Mandaville hospital in the '70s and they all went to present jimmy Savile with the cheque. When they were having the photograph taken she stood next to him and he spent the whole time groping her bum. She never liked him after that, but didn't think anything else of it until now! She's still got the photograph to prove it :0
Ollie played football against Hungerford on Sunday. They lost 8-3. Coach not very impressed.
The sun is trying to shine and Dad has actually managed to do some spraying today. Last night he took grandma and grandpa to Glawster to watch them play Fiji. Glaws just managed to wins at the end. Think they enjoyed.
The post has just arrived and your jacket is here, very nice. It was in a tiny box, bit creased but hopefully they will drop out. Love the little phone trumpets, didn't know what you did with them at first but Ollie worked it out, very clever.
