What a gorgeous day in Daytona Beach, FL; about 68 degrees or so. We decided to go bike riding and ended up on the beach. It was a little breezy at the beach, but the sand was perfect for biking on (there's no trail like on Venice Beach). Everyone got a good workout from biking into the wind. It was very picturesque as you can see in the photos below. It was so peaceful and serene that I thought instrumental music might begin playing in the background any minute . . . just like in the movies . . .

and then, "This is the last time we're doing this!" "The sand is getting stuck in the chain and gears and it's not good for the bikes."  "Okay," I reply.

Back to reality . . . but it was amusing while it lasted.
