Vegas baby, Vegas. Arrived here at 10pm on Saturday. Awful Greyhound ride and had to walk to hostel. However within the first 5 minutes we came down Fremont Street which is basically a huge indoor street. Just as we entered the ceiling, which stretches the whole street, lighted up and there was an amazing light and music show. Hard to take in when you havn't slept for what seems like days. Hit the town at about 11pm, went back to Fremont and hit some casinos but didn't do any gambling. Had dinner in a restuarant at 1 in the morning, got back to the hostel at 3am.
The next day we checked out a bucnh of casino's and sights during the day. It really is crazy here, nothing compares to it. The casinos are huge, like little indoor towns, you would never have to leave one. We played the slots during the day and had a few drinks. Headed back to hostel at 7 and got suited and booted to hit the town properly. Built up our courage to play at a blackjack table. Embarresing as we didn't know the rules of the table such as only being allowed to use one hand to look at your carss. Dealer was nice though and I won $60. Got a few free drinks from cocktail waitresses, decided to try a bloody mary and was nearly sick. We didn't get back to the hostel until 5am at which time we were near dead.
Plan tonight is to go to a stage show called Bite, which consists of naked women pretending to be vampires, brilliant. Heading to San Diego, California tomorrow.
