We left Nantes on Sunday Morning and caught a 3 hour train ride to Paris! Harper slept soundly with only a short wake/playtime. Her transportation good behavior streak continues! We arrived at our hotel The Hotel Gramont Opera and were greeted with free chocolate croissnats-I knew I was going to love this place. Our room is on the top floor and we have a balcony that is accessed through our window.
Last night we visited the Eiffel Tower, we braved the metro and caught the best view of the tower from the Palais de Chaillot. We took the scary elevator ride up and could see amazing views of the city. Every hour the tower has a light show that makes it look bedazzled! Very cool.
This morning we were off to visit all the rest of the sights Paris had to offer. We started in our neighborhood with the Opera, then on to the Royal Palace where we toured the gardens. We stopped by Mona Lisa's house (The Louvre) then toward the Champs Elysees to see the Arc de Triomphe. We had lunch at a brassiere where we had a Croc Monsieur (like a ham and cheese but a million times better) and more Crepes.
Finally tonight we hit our last stop-Notre Dame and had our last crepes. We finished with a Surf crepe which had banana's, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream!
We've had an amazing time, Harper has been such a good traveler, but for now we say Au Revoir!
