Up bright and early. Spent the day sat in airports as we flew from Siem Reap to Bangkok and the finally down to Phuket. After that we had a short transfer to Patong where we met back up with Mark in the very posh hostel Dfeel. After a quick shower and a few drinks with a couple of German lads we were out in the infamous Patong. An underworld for Thailand's ceedy sex industry. Within hours of being in the country we were at a pingpong show...oh dear. The actresses' box of tricks included (reader discretion is advised here): Gold fish, Baby Turtles, Budgies, Razor Blades, a dart gun and the ability to smoke a cigarette. We left with our very cores shaken.

This morning we headed down to the beach in Patong whih wasn't particularly inviting after the huge storm last night. Alot of debry had been washed up. The town itself is incredibly developed, there is an enormous shopping centre here which houses the same brands as back home...with similar prices too.

We left Patong this morning on a journey that would eventually see us arriving at Koh Phangan for the Full Moon party. We finally arrived two hours later after 2 minibuses, a coach, a ferry and a taxi! The island looked amazing as we pulled in on the ferry, we're very much looking forward to seeing it in daylight. We headed down the pub, once we had settled at the hotel, the watch Man City win the league. Spent the remainder of the evening sampling buckets with the lads (yep, we're back with Will and Liam) and watching drunk idiots jump through fire...skipping ropes doused in kerosene and set ablaze. What is that all about?! Muppets.

Took a quick walk around the beaches of the Haad Rin peninsula this morning. The place is littered with gorgeous views, beautiful beaches and islands every direction you look. Hoards of young 'backpacker' (and we use that term broadly) tourists have turned up for the party...literally thousands, so it should be a good night. We headed to a pre-party tonight called the waterfall party, it really wasn't that great, there wasn't even a waterfall haha!

We spent the day on the beach just down from Mushroom mountain today (yup, that's honestly its name and for obvious reasons). Everybody had a hard time staying in the sea, it was full of tiny jellyfish and felt like swimming through stinging nettles. Had a quick walk around town too which seems to have everything you could ever need in the space of a small village. Another pre-party tonight...the jungle party! This one was actually quite fun and absolutely packed, opposite the bar was also a Mai Thai boxing ring, just incase you got fed up with dancing.

Hangovers are definitely catching up with everyone now, but morale is still high for the actual Full Moon party tonight! The grand finale! The actual day, however, was basically a write off with lots of tv watched and lots of sleep caught up on. Pre-drinks got very very colourful as everybody became Van Gough, Picasso, Monet or more realistically Dali with body paints. It's actually a great idea for a party...just paint each other, literally. The night itself called upon some serious endurance. There was an awesome sunrise and we all got back to bed for around 10AM.

Death has struck the camp today. Alcohol has claimed its victims. Those valiant enough to endure the three day battle (bender) can now be found strewn across the island in a zombie like state. The hangover apocalypse is upon us. Nothing got done that day.
Definitely the worst we've ever felt in our lives haha.

Our last day on the beautiful Koh Phangan. We booked a night ferry that would leave at 20:30 and wondered what to do for the rest of the day. Liam and Tom had a fantastic idea to rent out some bikes for a few hours and tour the entire island. After acquiring a pair of Kawasaki KLX250s we set off to explore. The rest of the island was absolutely incredible. There are so many hidden beaches offering views to die for! There is also a fair amount of high end premium resorts set in the most picturesque locations imaginable. We drove all the way to the northern most point of the island and up to a viewing tower located on a cliff. The road ends about 1km before you get to the tower which was a formula for a bloody good time - the bikes we had destroyed the track! We said our goodbyes to Will and Liam for the last time - we'll definitely be up in the north before too long lads - the jumped on the night ferry. The boat was atrocious, neither of us slept a wink on the collossal barge that had been kitted out to resemble a world war 2 hospital ship complete with mopeds strapped in. Arrived on dry land at 5am and absolutely shattered.
