We flew from Singapore to Bangkok. As we were boarding the plane loads of Chinese people kept looking at Angelica then pointing at her hair she was famous they had never seen braids before haha kept touching her hair and discussing. So anyway, In Bangkok we landed about about half 5 and no taxi would take us to our hostel as it was gridlocked with traffic (which we found out is like 20 hours of every day). We got there later. I love the little tuk tuks but we have come to realise they rip you off just like almost every Thai. After spending 5 nights in Bangkok in 2 different hostels we are now ready to leave. It is so busy here and at first we loved it. Khao San road is pretty touristy but the food stalls are so cheap, pork, chicken and bugs on a stick haha. Bars here are 24 hours an you can get buckets of alcohol or even towers. CRAZY! patpong is another area really seedy mostly full of old men and the sex industry. You have to see this to believe it. We even saw a ping pong show in a club and left early FILTH! It's been ridiculously hot here and I have got prickly heat rash all over my neck GROSS. The floating market we loved so strange to see stalls selling from a little boat each line up along a river. Last night we went to another area near Silom lined with bars and outdoor clubs where locals get in free but tourists pay. I know it's a poor country and tourists bring the money in but we have started to get a bit fed up of them charging us separately to the locals for EVERYTHING. also veryone tries to rip u off it's mad. Bought our train ticket to chiang Mai which is where we are headed tonight on a sleeper train. So that should be an experience. To kill time before we go we are going to a market today with over 8000 stalls. Looking forward to Chiang Mai though now.
